They matter a lot to me. Most of all mine. Then again (back to Seinfeld) if we can make one of "them " change teams and play with our equipment ... stuff of dreams :)

Good Riddance Mr Hair. Serves you right for giving Sachin Shoulder Before Wicket! Chor ki Aulaad!

is this the guy who gave mcrgrath the wicket? don't remember.

but if he is

then can we slowly roast his balls on a fire fuelled by the tampered ball?

hahaha, the "man of principles", "the australian hero", "stickler for laws" is ready to run away from it all for a pile of dosh!! oh, poor baby, cdn't handle the "stress"!

wonder which clause from the ICC rulebook justifies this action.

reaffirms my faith in my judgement of people.  [god]

Did someone actually call him "The Australian Hero"?  :D :D....that's pretty sad, if they did that

thse councils and boards are bureaucratic in nature. therefore all communication to parties are slow. people caught in this whole fire can't handle, everybody likes fast resoltuions to problems that eat them. here hair found himself isolated to a large extent, his adopted country went for his jugular and though there were appropraite noises from austrailans the aussie board has remained quite tight-lipped about this. imagine if venkat had got stuck ina  issue like this, bcci would be there in full force giving all kinds of conflicting statements, muddling the issue and ensuring that venkat is safely removed from the firing line in the confusion that ensuses. and SMG and Shastri would have come out roaring (of course imran ahs also said his two-bit but imran ka kaun sunta hai).

poor hair no one listening to him or counselling him or showing up to stand beside him. he feels like an employee facing the HR committee on some disciplinary measure with no project manager support. :)

i predict hair will come out of this without much damage and will continue umpiring. it will be a close shave with the authorities thoughn ;D

Oh yes. its the same guy.... and the Aussies till date say that Sachin was out and it was a "courageous " decision.. I guess as courageous as asking for 500K ....

i don't think hair wants 500000 P as much as he wants that he comes out of this with no reprimand. this resig is nothing but use of his legal power in the face of all the mighty lobbying that shariyar and musharraf are doing.

The umpire that gave Sachin out was not Darrell Hair, but rather the other Australian Daryl... Harper, that is.  For visual confirmation, http://youtube.com/watch?v=auXEazioVMU

I am with  [god] here :)

This is sensational news. I guess people are still recovering from yesterday's Mahabharat.

It certainly seems like the ICC has hung Hair out to dry. The great thing is that Hair is under a gag contract so that we may not know both sides of the story.

In my opinion this is a very serious act of malice.

prfsr , on another notes, two unrelated points

a. Aren't you always with  [god]? how dare you? toda tho sharam kar, bhagvan ke saath ho tho aapka accha hi hoga

b. you referred Mahabharat a few times today, why don't you entertain us by taking the analogy to its logical end, characterise which role in Mahabharat? we know pitamah is kban, what else?

I am Abhimanyu tortured by the encirclement!

Mock is Kunti Devi! (if I say Draupadi, she may be upset!)
finey, you don't get it..we HAVE to be the Pandavas in this. so Mock can't be Kunti. she has to be kauravas unknown sister  ;D

can someone find out the name of kaurava sister?

Ok, Mock is blinded by GC-hatred...so she is the blindfold wearing Gaandhaaree.

Brilliant :D

Danke. Gaandhaaree it is. Dushala rejetted. We'll find someone for Dushala!

Oh! I need cricket :'( :'( :'(

*hari is one of the finest characters from Mahabaratha. high morals standards, voluntary sacrifice of her sight for the sake of her husband, her righteousness despite being a mother to "villains" and asking them to follow the path of dharma. good choice.

i ROCK.  [god]

mock, not to disturb your apple cart, but seriously, can you name a nagative female character in Mahabharat? they are all good, so either it was a case of male dominated, stereotyping or just like now, even then, they were all great women.  :)
