Some interesting threads of the past to re-read from post#1. Some good times were there in the DG during a break of a few months.

Mock,
Your only chance of completing this series would be - go watch Shivaji - you will be so inspired to write these sorta stories, and immediately jump to this thread.

am watching it this weekend. have procured a ticket paying a HEFTY sum. never spent so much money on any movie ticket ever. maybe i will complete this after-all. but i need a DG full of fun and frolic for that - not this graveyard of a place where everyone is waiting to "get" the other. BAH

DG used to be a place where there were lots of fights when we transitioned from AS Purdue DG to CricketVoice - and then, after a while for sometime - a good break occurred, I think the fun and frolic started and used to be the norm - people used to sit late at night and there will be quick stories and banter posts and a lot of fun. Then after sometime, now the bad period has returned again recently.

On another note:
Hopefully, Shivaji will inspire you  :icon_jokercolor:

BTW - you say HEFTY sum, but since you have not watched movies in like 10 years(!), maybe it seems HEFTY to you - movie prices have gone up in India and outside India over a decade  ;D

i haven't watched a tamizh movie in over 10 years but i have watched other movies(not many, say 2-3 a year unless there is a film festival) but i still don't think they cost USD 25 which is what i have paid for this.
