Wow! Awesome thread.

I come to the DG and notice a new thread with 74 replies to it already. I say "ooohh Goodie. Looks like kisi ne SG ko man main gaali di hai" 74 posts later and I happily see this the best thread in a long long time. And no friendly warnings either.

The Kban post(s) was awesome!!! K-Slice Ji. Desert at cheese cake factory for you next time u visit Chicago!

My contributions:

Fineleg: I love DD. Will you marry me DD?

DD: Fineleg leave me alone.

Dex: Kisi ne SG ko gaali di hai. Nahin kisi ne man main gaali di hai! I will ban them all

Flute: Kban you are wrong. In all you 1,000,000 words

Kban: (another million words later) thats why Flute YOU are wrong.

CP: all the mods are conspiring against me!

Kban: are not

Flute: Are too

Kban: So lets look at this logically. When logic is considered  logically...zzzzzzz...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
etc etc so thats why logically the mods are all fair and square and there really is no bias

CP: my head hurts! I cant read all that. Kban must be right

Nima : <silence>

Jiet: Sarcasm is the mother of Hilarity. Or is it the father?

JFK: Kaif is my hero! Lets look at some vital statistics. If you look at them from the right. Kaif really is the next Bradman!

Ramji: My Name is Lakhan. Mr 281. Mera naam hai Lakhan!

Mock: Who wanted me to smile at them? Who ? Who?

Desi Yankee: Yo! You messin with Nu Arkers? Yo Ahm Gonna give you a large case of whoopass!

Prem: Boys, I  have been terribly busy with the India Abroad awards ceremony. Taking the weekend off, cheers

DY,
Just a joke...bcos in one of the chats, you mentioned that for fun ( i might've saved that chat), this was i think during the ind-pak abu dhabi matches, when DD, u, me and few others were on chat.

DY,
Good one abt Prem...add one more to Prem: "I won't visit CricketVoice DG until Arjun Swarup is back".

Great thread folks, as K-I-C said, avowed enemies are exchanging friendly banter and applauds.
Way to go. Yes, please SAVE this thread safely. For now, let it remain here, since it is still active.

Cmon - jaat, come by and applaud CP - this thread has to be kept alive until then.
Actually, it has gotta be kept alive until FP comes back from hibernation and then we need to applaud each other!!!

And then what abt TYC? TYC and bouncer need to applaud each other
Dex and CP need to applaud each other.
Rams has to come back and Rams/Flute need to applaud.

Ok, long way to go - keep the thread alive.

hamas & israel  is Ok, but Desi Yankee why did you choose not to mention US & Al queada? are you victim of US propa*a? why did you mention India & Pak? you mere mention of India & Pak means that you are trivializing India's condition as a victim of sustained terror from Pak. don't you think?

:) sorry I know you just made that statement in jest, but couldn't ignore the implied meaning in it

no i dont fault pakistan completely, the indian govt also has to be faulted for its what i called impotent action with regard to the people who cross the border.

the countries i all fault for all the terror related problems are saudi arabia and the uae. while the former might be obvious the latter isn't but here are some facts i learnt about the uae
1. the uae was among the only 3 countries to recognise the taliban
2. the uae was the 2nd highest arms buyer last year (dont know what category but do recall them buying more arms than india!)

the us propo*a to me is an interesting topic. when someone mentions such propo*a i presume the perpetrator they imply is bush. bush jr is not a person i would hate. to me he is like a kid whose lolipop has been taken away. in order to be evil you need brains, something bush lacks

another country i didn't  mention was chechnya, again who are the perpetrators - saudi arabian wahabis who look nothing like the chechnyans. interesting tidbit - a majority of chechnya is sufi go figure!

desi yankee, don't you think you are confusing ineptitude in fighting terror with actual sponsoring of terror? My main point was, India has been a victim of terror since last 15 yrs and Pakistan has been chief sponsor of this terror. We cannot trivialize this and joke about Ind & Pak as two fighting brothers etc. and how they need to patch up etc.

Wow, finally a place where avowed enemies who dont see eye to eye applaud each other .. and not a word of anger is exchanged!! Great Going guys

All it needs now is for a Jaat to come up and applaud CP ... I'll faint at my desk ;)

THIS THREAD IS A RARE GEM ... NEEDS TO BE STORED SOMEPLACE WHERE IT IS EASY TO ACCESS

And applause (again) to the creator!

kic, Applause to CP, if that helps!
But tell you you what, RD's captaincy sucks! He is just too insipid. I suggest, he gets a face-lift. With every passing day, he is looking like the 'fresher in the hostel, trying to eacape ragging and looking harassed to the hilt'. It is telling on him, IMO. ;D

my additions:
CP-: ( Fresh after a verbal assault), Mods! Where are the mods?! Why can't they take action against this wretched guy?! I am hundred percent certain that this is personal attack! (btw, nobody knows better about personal attack than CP, so he must be true).
I have high hopes about the judgement and moral integrity of the mods. I am certain that some action is definitely forthcoming! Buck up Mods! Exhibit your impartiality, it is high time!

flutie-bhai-: ( beating abt the same bush) I am a great disciple of Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramhans, Raja Rammohan Roy, J Krishnamoorthy, Rabindranath Tagore, etc. They had no colonial hangover, neither do I! Infact my love for GC has nothing to do with colonial hangover. It is all about structured logic, a state of the art process in place, a work ethics dowloaded straight from Bhagawad Gita. Also, I love Kiran more! Because, he too shares the same philosophy of processes, nuances, GC, logic and enterprise! ;D

Is this also one of your additions (this time for yourself) or is that just some thought spilling over?

A question for anyone but Jaat. Did you find the stuff that Jaat wrote funny? I just want to make sure that I can take a joke made on me. To me it sounded like another extention of his whine without being funny in anyway. But that could just be me and I would love to get another perspective on it.

And by the way, what I did find funny about the post was that when I wrote my (attempted humor) it did not mention Jaat at all. While his piece had only Flute and me. Hmmm! I guess there is humor in that :)

CP: Riddick, I am riddick. In this hole i can feel out anything even if i can't see it. i am sure jaat has malice in his post even if no one else can see it. and he is not funny, even if no one else can see it that way. i know. in this hole i am riddick.  8)

I really wanted to know whether others found it funny. Kban had once said on another thread that I would have not complained about anyone else and only did it to Jaat due to the "history".  I honestly think I am one who can enjoy a joke at my own expense (I make jokes on self all the time). In this case I really did not find it funny and truly wanted another perspective. But enough from me on this one. Wont spoil this thread.

And there we go again.

Fair enough. I wont spoil this thread. No more from me on Jaat in this thread.

Sorry, I just read this now and it is one of the best threads on this DG.

Thought of something myself.

Remember Prem Panicker from the Sight Screen days.  When he is held up at work someone else used to announce his whereabouts.

Arjun Swarup: "Prem is stuck up in the board room in a meeting with India Abroad folks.  He should be on the blog this evening.  He wanted me to let you all know." :D :D :D

And all of us poor souls will continue fighting in the comments section waiting for his excellency.

One more of PP's favorite lines.  Just before he used to leave the blog after his morning visit.

"Out of here heading to the gym for a workout.  Will be back here in a few" :D :D :D :D

The way he used the word 'Methink' was rather cute, I suppose. ;D
