Show me the bunny: stats reveal a different McGrath
By Kersi Meher-Homji and Rajesh Kumar

HE MAY be regarded as a bunny, but Glenn McGrath is the only No.11 Test batsman to provide six instances of helping a partner reach a century.
McGrath also helped Steve Waugh reach his double-century (from 196 to 200) as he scored an unbeaten three in a last-wicket stand of eight runs. This was against the West Indies in the Kingston Test of 1994-95, the series in which Australia staked claims as Test champions.

During the course of his 107-run stand with Mike Hussey against South Africa in Melbourne, McGrath established a unique record. He became the first No. 11 batsman to be associated in two century partnerships for the 10th wicket in Test annals. McGrath (61) had first achieved this feat during his 114-run stand with Jason Gillespie (54 not out) against New Zealand in Brisbane in 2004-05.
