« on: April 08, 2010, 10:17:17 PM »

Huge Huge Huge Huge Huge Huge Huge Huge Tiger guy.

Want him to win at all costs but is unlikely at Augusta.

Right now 2 behind the leaders playing the 13th at 3 under with leader at 5 under.

FAVOR:Leave the thread here if you can please till the masters is done and dusted and then move it to where it belongs.

Fans applauded Woods as he made the walk from the practice range to the first tee, and greeted him warmly at the tee. “Make us proud!” one yelled.

They applauded his good shots, groaned at the bad ones and shouted encouraging cheers.

“It was unbelievable,” Woods said. “I mean, all day. I haven’t heard them cheer this loud in all my years here.”

Good to see that kind of a support for Tiger.  Hope he can win it for his fans.  Another Masters for the Master would be perfect. :)

Don't look now.

Tiger two under today thru 15 to be tied for 3rd overall with 6 under to this point with the leaders at 9 under.

Let us hope he can keep up the momentum thru the weekend and see what happens.

even if he finishes in top 10, it would be awesome.

I am for some strange reason rooting for his comeback.. I guess we all intrinsically want fallen heroes to repent and come back.

ESPN today, tomorrow and Sunday on CBS.

Today only portions though in ESPN.  Very strange.  However it is now live on ESPN.

too bad that in Golf a low score is better. Kyon ki Tiger's scoring off the course is really really high. Many a times he was scoring many holes in one shot :)

why? the reason these athletes get millions (billions for him) is that they endorse products since people look up to them. You and i dont get paid millions for being professionals in our field (ok you may be getting them ... but not me :) ).    So the athletes should be held to higher standards.

I think there is a thread out to there in the etc to debate on Tiger's transgressions.

This one is for the Golf and the Masters. :)

Tiger is 3 behind after playing 9 holes in the final round behind co-leaders Westwood and Mickelson who are 12 under after 8 holes.

Tiger looks like will only end up with a top 5 finish.

Damn it.

Safe to say Tiger is out of it.

4 behind the leaders now and 2 others ahead of him and behind the leaders.

He will not win this one.
