APJ Abdul Kalam and Ratan Tata voted as Most Trusted Indians    

New Delhi: Former President APJ Abdul Kalam and leading industrialist Ratan Tata were voted as the most trusted Indians in an online survey conducted by market research firm Digital Edge. Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has been ranked seventh.

Here's the Top Ten List in the Survey:

1. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (Former President)
2. Ratan Tata (Tata Group)
3. Kiran Bedi (top Police Officer)
4. Narayana Murthy (Infosys)
5. AR Rahman (Music Director)
6. Viswanathan Anand (Chess)
7. Dr Manmohan Singh (Prime Minister)
8. Sachin Tendulkar (Cricket)
9. RK Laxman (cartoonist)
10. Amartya Sen (Economist), G. Madhavan Nair (Space Scientist) and Azim Premji (Wipro)

Among others, AICC General Secretary Rahul *hi is on 29th spot, while several top politicians of the country finished at the bottom. Indian Skipper MS Dhoni is at 42nd, while shooter Abhinav Bindra is at 25th. Sania Mirza finished a poor 81st.

Among the Bollywood celebrities, Amitabh Bachchan got 14th place, ahead of Aamir Khan, who is at 18th. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is at 82, while TV serial producer Ekta Kapoor is at 95. Shah Rukh Khan could manage to stay at the 53rd place.

The politicians, who finished at the bottom are, BJP veteran L.K. Advani (94), Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee (96), Agricultutre Minister Sharad Pawar (97), CPI-M General Secretary Prakash Karat (98), RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav (99) and Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati (100). IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi is at 93.
President Pratibha Patil could manage to stay at 67, while Congress President Sonia *hi is at a poor 72. Home Minister P Chidambaram stays at 50, while Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is at 73.

7. Pilots
8. Surgeons
9. Nurses
10. Engineers
Religious leaders, lawyers, police officers, government officials, realtors, sports administrators and politicians got thumbs down in the survey.
