Both goals were very well constructed. Well deserved win.

terrible game. poor strategy by man u. how can you play long ball.
also, tevez should have started, not park. and you need a strong middle - scholes only came one when it was too late

Agreed and they were trying to play an open game...very foolish approach. you would think that they would have learnt from Chelsea who dominated Barca in the semi-finals. You have to get physical and cut cramp the middle of the park with Iniesta and Xavi playing.

Well played Barca thought - deserve to be champs.

Ultimately, for all the hype, english football was exposed for what it is -- a load of hot air.... in particular, the petulant pretty boy had his comeuppance in the hands (or rather, the head) of the true champion -- Messi. The way the little men Xavi and Iniesta pulled strings down the middle was a treat to watch. and the way one dodge by Eto'o left the 'best central defense in the world' sprawling on the park proved once again that brawn can take you thus far and no further!

Expecting to see Fergie to go 'back to basics' -- big burly, tireless and growling middlemen and beanpole targetman for next season.

Hoping against hope that the martinet retires!
