Hahaha...Henriques comes in.  First 4 players in the KKR lineup are overseas players.  JB wants the quota to be up no wonder.  But then conisder my post as a tougue in the cheek as it may really have a cricketing reason for this particular lineup and could be a coincidene that they happen to be overseas signings.

the fools send the stupid aussie and he plays out a maiden. The other stupid aussie broke the momentum with his brilliant 10/19.. Surely Saha is better than this guy.

Sehwag still out, Kolkata opt to bat
5 May 2009, 2:53 pm

Toss Kolkata Knight Riders chose to bat against Delhi Daredevils

Live scorecard and ball-by-ball details

Moises Henriques gets another chance to prove his worth in the IPL

Kingsmead has already witnessed an absolute mismatch today, and looking at the way Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders have performed, another one looks on the cards. Delhi go into the game against cellar-dwellers Kolkata knowing that a win will take them top of the table, with a game in hand.

Kolkata have a couple of things going their way though: Virender Sehwag hasn't yet recovered from his injury, and they won the toss, getting first use of a good batting pitch. Brendon McCullum insisted his side are a dangerous opponent as their abject performance so far has left them with "nothing to lose".

They made a couple of changes to the line-up that pushed Kings XI Punjab to the last ball in Port Elizabeth on Sunday. Australian allrounder Moises Henriques took the place of Chris Gayle, who has left to join his West Indian team-mates in England, and Yashpal Singh replaced Laxmi Ratan Shukla. Delhi go in with an unchanged side.

Delhi Daredevils 1 David Warner, 2 Gautam Gambhir (capt), 3 AB de Villiers, 4 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 5 Dinesh Karthik (wk), 6 Mithun Manhas, 7 Rajat Bhatia, 8 Amit Mishra, 9 Ashish Nehra, 10 Pradeep Sangwan, 11 Dirk Nannes

Kolkata Knight Riders 1 Brendon McCullum (capt), 2 Sourav Ganguly, 3 Brad Hodge, 4 Wriddhiman Saha, 5 Morne van Wyk (wk), 6 Moises Henriques, 7 Yashpal Singh, 8 Ajit Agarkar, 9 Murali Kartik, 10 Ashok Dinda, 11 Ishant Sharma

If KKR lose this one, we will see some effigy burning in Kolkata. Specially if SG doesn't bat.

Buchanan is learning a whole lot of cricket during this fortnight, that he hasn't learnt in all his years of coaching Australia! :D

Atleast the guys took responsibility and kept thye innings together....which is important. The captain himself did a reasonable job...set the tempo.
Look it is important for the captain to influence the innings....Ganguly does it well...and McCullum has done it today.

I think based on how well DD bowlers bowled Henriques coming ahead of SG seems to be justified.  He ran well and hard and made best of what he could.  KKR has a chance here if they bowl and field well.
