divisional leaders Cards' RB Edgerin James is frustrated with his role in the team, sources close to the team said. Probably he is not satisfied with the number of carries he is getting

Tom Brady had to go through an additional two medical procedures yesterday to get the infection undercontrol in his surgically repaired knee...
Docs say it is still under observation and have no say on when it will be controlled or if it will be totally under control....

meanwhile, pats organisation is reportedly upset with the medical operations brady is going through as it endangers their QB position further beyond this season and may be next season too

Brady's surgery was done in California by a doctor his family preferred, and now there are major problems. Brady was supposed to be back in New England by now, but a timeline for his return remains unclear.

Some reports claim that Pats are upset that Brady didnt chose to have his surgery done by doctors that Pats wanted to do.

According to the BostonHerald, Brady is on a six-week course of intravenously administered antibiotics, and is still having follow-up exams at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, where the surgery took place. The Herald reported the infection originated from an incision to repair the medial collateral ligament.

If the infection is not brought under control, the patellar tendon graft used to replace Brady's anterior cruciate ligament could become compromised, according to the Herald's report. If that happens, he will have to undergo another surgery on the ACL. That would reset the clock on his rehabilitation.

NFL commissioner Roger Goddell is leaving open the possibility that suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones could play again in the NFL, but made it clear the oft-troubled player must first work through his off-field issues.

Saying he was "kind of disgusted with myself," a nervous-looking Larry Johnson apologized Wednesday for behavior that's led to an NFL investigation and to his benching for a second straight week.

"I want to start off saying I apologize to the Hunt family, my family, first and foremost, the fans, teammates, coaches and players," said Kansas City's two-time Pro Bowl running back.

"This is the first time in my life I actually had to stand up, I mean actually woke up and kind of be disgusted with myself and disgusted as far as the way my life and my career is heading right now."

Johnson followed coach Herm Edwards to the podium, spoke without notes and left without taking questions. Edwards had announced a few minutes earlier that Johnson would be benched, not suspended, for a second straight week.

Johnson did not play last week against Tennessee as punishment for violating team rules. Since then, it's been disclosed that police and the NFL are investigating a report that Johnson allegedly spat several times on a woman at a Kansas City nightclub.

He's also facing a December hearing in connection with a simple assault allegation involving another woman in February at another nightspot. It's the fourth time in five years he's been accused of assaulting a woman.

NAAAH.. this year the bears offense is better.. kyle orton is maturing into a decent qb. Once the secondary gets healthy (after the bye week) they will start killing other teams. That defense will not give more than 10 points a game, when healthy.. and that offense will put points on the board.

Watch out for the AZ Cardinals.. they could be the sleeper team of this year. Warner is having an awesome year and the defense is very good.

disagree... they would be on top of west and perhaps east too (which is a topsy turvy division).

A number of NFL players -- including Deuce McAllister and Will Smith of the New Orleans Saints -- have tested positive under the NFL's steroid policy as a result of taking water pills to lose weight, according to a report from Fox 31-Denver reporter Josina Anderson.

Deuce McAllister

McAllister
Will Smith

Smith
Anderson's report cited "a rash of positive tests." The number is more than 10 and may exceed 15, two sources have told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

Do you want to leave the bills alone and not compare with YUVRAJ  ;D ? Edwards had not missed a single day in practice this season. The first we lost was purely and Edward Vs Lossman impact. Agaisnt Dolphins  is inexcusable. Canít believe all those silly turnovers. All they need is 3 more wins. I am confident Bills will make it too playoffs this time. Actually am excited for the next game against Jets when they play at Home. Have a ticket for that one.

I don't think the Cards will have much hope if continue to tackle poorly. I think the Bears are stronger in this respect...that said Warner is running a freak show passing game at the moment.

Titans so far have looked really scary - if that defense stays healthy they are going to be very hard to beat.

Gaints play the Cards - should be a great contest. I like the Cards here - it is still early enough in the season and they are at home.

Jets vs the Titans - another interesting matchup.

P.S Mods - can we move this to the general board? not sure what the rules are these days....

Giants looking very good in the NFC. In the AFC, I still like the Titans to go all the way.
