Well, I think Mr. Maverick has done himself in now. Gallup polls show that only 10 percent of the people (14 by some accounts) want the debate to be postponed. On the other hand, judging from reader responses in NYT and Washington Post, two expressions uttered by Obama seems to have caught the imagination: "multi-tasking" and "we both have big planes."

I think McCain the stubborn old man will want to not show up, but I doubt his advisors will let him do so.
He really dug himself a hole by taking such an absolute position on it and didn't leave himself any room to maneuver.

When people see their hope is dying they will do any thing to revive their hope. Some people suspend their campaign to create  bru ha ha . other quietly join RCA

others will play politics by having dinner with Pawar and may play meaningless games against low grade opposition

Apparently, Bill Clinton is praising him! So, maybe it is not such a bad move?
